Fantastic location, on the banks of Loch Lomond. It is easy to find, well signposted, and first impressions as you get to the clubhouse is “wow”.
You are emailed on the morning of your booking, with weather details, course and weather conditions, pin placements, and green keepers schedule that morning.
Very good, with long shots over water, and range balls which float on the water after landing. Nets and putting area are also available adjacent to the first tee.
Dress code was relaxed in the bar, which is great. Attention from the F&B staff was great, and good food choices available. Shower and Changing room area was wonderful – nice (large) fluffy towels.
The course layout is exceptional, winding its way through the lakes and valleys in the lowlands of Scotland, before crossing over to the 9th tee, when, after teeing off, you cross into the Scottish Highlands.
Not really, it carries some Scottish heritage with the area and Loch Lomond on the doorstep but made to feel welcome.
Yes, cannot wait to go back
Can only say good things about the course and the day (except the weather was a bit cloudy) At the end of the 9th a unique “half way house” The highland Laddie, a boat sunk into the ground, well stocked with food and drink, and manned by friendly staff, some great memories to take away from the day.
